3 ways to stay safe on a cruise

Cruising is one of the most fun - and safer - you can vacation. Every year millions of passengers sail around the world, visiting some of the most beautiful places in the world, without incident.

But there is no doubt that the concerns raised about safety. In some rare cases, passengers are theft, injury and even death.

If you are concerned about being as safe as possible during the cruise, there are some common sense steps you can take to avoid potential problems. With these steps, you have peace of mind while enjoying your vacation.

1. Close doors - like staying in a hotel, make sure your cabin door is locked, whether you are inside or outside your room. Never leave a car door slightly open.

2. Do not drink too much - it is common sense, but you'd be surprised how many people seem to go with the alcohol, while on a cruise. Of course, part of the fun of a cruise can drink without worrying about driving home.

3. Really boring - Each cruise will have safety drills on board to help you prepare for an emergency. Chances are that you never have to use what you learn. While cruises tend to stay in "safer" ports of call, passengers seem to forget that these places are not a Disneyland for the enjoyment of the cruise. Crime can and will occur.

To make you less prone to problems and not be flashy with money or jewelry. Also a good ambassador and avoid unpleasant or confrontational with the locals.

In total, all these measures are common sense and just a moment of reflection to do. But as the old saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
