Fascinating Havana, Cuba

This famous pedestrian area was built in the 20th century with six lanes and is a wonderful place to walk along the promenade. You meet people walking, talking, drinking coffee and generally enjoying the ocean views. The National Hotel, opened in 1930, is the only hotel in Cuba, which is a national monument. Located on Calle Galiano in Centro Habana, this is a big club, where you will find the most popular salsa artists. It was built by the dictator Gerardo Machada, completed in 1929 and is now home to the third largest statue in the inner world, a cast bronze statue in Rome and to the right of the Republic. The statue stands about 50 high is covered with 22 caret gold leaf; Valty Lily, a Cuban woman, was the model, but the artist was inspired by the Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena.

The Revolution Museum, housed in the former Presidential Palace, is a great place to get an overview of the history of Cuba to get. You can learn about the fight against the former dictator Batista and see Granma, the yacht and Fidel Castro released the latest revolution, and a tank in the Bay of Pigs invasion.
