Most people travel to celebrate their holidays and often take their families with them. There are some who simply can not live without their pets too. If you plan to travel with your pet need to plan ahead to make the trip more enjoyable and comfortable as possible for both you and the animal.

· Travel by car

If you go for a road trip for the holidays, make sure you do not let your pet loose in your vehicle. You can get your pet to a safety harness that can be connected to the system of your car seat belt. A pet carrier is also a good idea, but can also be more expensive. Always put your pet in the back seat.

· Air travel

If you are flying to your destination, a pet carrier is a need to comply with airline regulations. Please contact the airlines for pet transport dimensions to make sure you have the right size to buy. A pet can travel by air in the cabin if not exceed 22 kilograms in weight, 18 inches long and 11 inches long.

For international travel, requires certain documents for your pet before you can take. Do not travel with your pet, unless you have checked and vaccinated by a veterinarian. Always use your pet's health certificate along with current immunization records.

· Pet Foods

Take enough food for pets, you can never be sure that your pet's favorite brand pet foods will be available at your destination, so it is better to be safe.

· Food

If traveling by air, feed your pet a snack 5-6 hours before departure. Do not give your pet a fluid two hours before departure. If you drive, do not try to feed your pet while you are in motion.

· Clearly mark

Whether you take your pet for domestic or international travel, it is better if it can be an identification tag on your pet. The tag should include your address and phone number and your address and telephone number.

If you are visiting family, you should let them know that you are bringing your pet. If you are staying in a hotel, check the house rules and regulations regarding pets.

Also make sure that your pet's travel-ready.
